Boguelit Beginnings: The Story

Born from my maiden name, a cheeky colleague bestowed nickname and my love of teaching English Literature.

Born from the birth of my baby girl, who has ironically taught me more than I could have ever imagined and has given me the courage to start this business.

Born from a rebellion against "lessons don't need to be creative, they need to be safe".

Amazing examination results in English Literature can still be a product of creative and engaging learning.

I am an experienced Secondary English teacher, middle leader and senior examiner for a major examination board, I support English departments across the country to improve their Literature results and alleviate marking pressures. I also support parents and students who come to me for private tuition in the run up to their exams. I have worked in very different school settings, from a school in an area of socio-economic deprivation to working in the independent sector, meaning I have a breadth of experience in working with all abilities and challenges. I am, also, very much so still at the 'chalkface'!
